The hour markers are fully three-dimensional and intentionally non-uniform.
What would typically be flat sticks, dots, or numerals are instead extruded volumes that require meticulous finishing across their entire 360-degree surface. Moreover, they are not identical to one another, highlighting the uniqueness of time as it evolves linearly.
The base of the hour markers aligns with the flat surface where the base if the dial lays, however, each one extends to almost touch the back of the anti-reflective sapphire glass, with a specific distance that allows the luminous surfaces to be perceived as if they were inside the glass, floating in the air while the watch is rotated.
These pillars interact with the volume contained within the case to define space, highlight the void and serve as a frame to contain, as a diamond setting, the dial with which a dialogue made of reflections takes place. The hour markings, in fact, reflect into the dial highly polished finish and the reflections themselves, when the watch is looked at from the top, read as flat markings on a conventional dial. This effect is to materialize the juxtaposition between a conventional watch and the future.
